Reducing And Offsetting Our Carbon Footprint
Hosting 4 Less is actively contributing to help conserve natural resources and doing what we can to combat global climate change. We are committed to reducing landfill waste and operating our organization in a responsible and environmentally-friendly manner. We believe being "green" not only makes sense, it's good business sense as well. In addition to our mostly paperless billing and ongoing employee recycling efforts, Hosting 4 Less will continue to offset our already minimal amount of carbon emissions. Some examples of this are:

Hosting 4 Less has implemented an aggressive company wide recycling program for both company consumables as well as employee consumables' at home. We aggressively recycle all materials that are recyclable via our local waste removal companies including but not limited to beverages, paper, boxes, etc. |

At our administrative offices we have swapped out all T12 Fluorescent lighting fixtures for T8 high efficiency electronic ballasts and light bulbs. These new lights use 20% less energy per bulb and there were over 150 of them! Moreover, because of the new brighter lighting we are able to work with half the lighting in our offices further increasing efficiency and reducing carbon output. |

We implemented energy efficient servers and high efficiency power supplies that use modern techniques of monitoring internal temperatures and power requirements reducing fan speeds and power requirements during low demand. |
